Local
The clubhouse and greens are maintained by the club members in cooperation with Portland Petanque Club, Portland Croquet Club, and under the supervision of the Portland Parks and Recreation Department.

Lots of people compare lawn bowling to curling and some of our members belong to both PLBC and Evergreen Curling Club.

Divisional
PLBC is a club within the Northwest Division of the United States Lawn Bowls Association. Member clubs in the NW Division include King City (King City, OR),   Jefferson Park (Seattle, WA),
Tacoma (Tacoma, WA) and Spokane (Spokane, WA).

The Division has officers and a board made up of representatives from each club in the division. In some cases divisional tournaments establish qualifiers to national competitions.

National
Lawn bowling at the national level is governed by the Bowls USA which has its own officers and board made up of representatives from each Division.

International
International events are established by the World Bowls and are played in various venues around the world. The WBB reviews and edits the rules of the game.
