Bowls may be one the of few sports that runs open admission to almost every event, at every level of competition. As a member of the club, you have access to all these events and more around the country and world.
OPEN 2025 TOURNAMENTS
You're invited to the 2nd Annual Retro Rinks Tournament! It's time to get a little fancy and celebrate our game and our club. Teams of 4 will compete throughout the day for the Portland Rinks Trophy and then enjoy cocktail hour and a delicious dinner. It's a little bit of strategy and a ton of fun! Sign up with a team of 4 or sign up solo or with a group of 2 or 3, and we'll build you a team! Matching tops with collars required, whites encouraged. RSVP separately for the tournament and dinner, and feel free to invite guests to celebrate our amazing community!
A one-day open Pairs Tournament. Participants do not have to be members of the Portland Lawn Bowling Club, but should have some experience playing the game. Pairings are randomly matched for each of the five games. This is a fun and lively tournament with some friendly competition mixed in!
All players from the Portland area (Oregon and SW Washington) with experience in lawn bowling are eligible to participate in the 6th annual Rose Jug Singles Open. This tournament is a bracket, double-elimination tournament for all genders and all skill levels conducted on a flexible schedule between July 5 and mid-September. Players will have a set time (usually 10 - 12 days) to complete their match on their schedule.

PLBC's Tournament of randomly drawn Leads and Skips, aptly named for a weekend years ago where it was 100+ degrees. Cash prizes for the highest scoring Lead and highest scoring Skip at the end of the tournament!
