The Portland Lawn Bowling Club has been a hidden gem in the heart of the city since 1933, bringing together people of all backgrounds to enjoy the timeless game of lawn bowls. Located in the scenic Westmoreland Park, our club is home to a passionate, welcoming community that values connection, friendly competition, and the simple joy of playing on the green.
Founded with the mission of making lawn bowling accessible to everyone, we’re proud to be one of the most inclusive recreational clubs in Portland. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned bowler, there’s a place for you here. We offer open play, tournaments, and social events throughout the season—and we love introducing new people to the sport!
Lawn bowling is easy to learn, relaxing, and surprisingly strategic. It’s also a great way to meet new friends, get some fresh air, and enjoy the beauty of our park setting.
We invite you to stop by, roll a few bowls, and see what makes our club so special.
Come for the game, stay for the community.
